The first day of KvK construction prep had APX buzzing. Hammers, blueprints, TG spreadsheets, and Funky Lion climbing something he absolutely shouldn't — all normal. But then Kara unveiled her new Meteor skin. It was sleek. It was deadly. It was black and blue with a shine that said "I go fast enough to ruin someone's day."
Funky Lion, Funky Eagle, Drew, and Mallo gathered around, each offering their own commentary.
Funky Lion — "It looks fast enough to outrun my bad decisions." Funky Eagle — "Aerodynamic. Efficient. Bob-resistant… hopefully." Drew — "The TG cost on this thing is giving me heartburn." Mallo — "Can it survive Bob?"
Kara smirked. "It'll be fine." That was the moment the universe laughed. Because Bob was already circling the Meteor like a raccoon discovering a new trash can. He poked the hull. He sniffed the thrusters. He licked the windshield for reasons unknown. "New toy," Bob whispered reverently. Kara decided to take it for a test flight.
She forgot one critical detail: there was a Bob in the kingdom. She climbed in, powered up the Meteor, and launched it forward with the confidence of someone who assumed Bob was at least ten feet away. He was not. The Meteor surged forward at full speed.
Bob, who had been inspecting the front plating, suddenly found himself starfished across the nose of the Meteor, limbs spread, eyes wide, hair blown straight back like he'd stuck his head out of a moving carriage. He didn't scream. He didn't panic. He simply yelled: "THIS IS AMAZING!" Kara didn't notice him for the first thirty seconds.
She was too busy enjoying the smooth acceleration, the perfect handling, the raw power. Then she saw the reflection of Bob's face in the glass. She sighed. Deeply.
But she didn't slow down. She took the Meteor across the kingdom — streaking over APX, past TTK, buzzing LGD's rooftops, startling SOV's scouts, and nearly giving FAR's Rambo a heart attack. Every alliance looked up and saw: a beautiful black-and-blue Meteor with Kara piloting like a pro, and Bob plastered to the front like a decorative hood ornament. By the time she landed, Bob peeled himself off the hull and staggered around in circles.
"That… was… AWESOME," he gasped. Kara shook her head. Funky Lion applauded. Drew updated the TG spreadsheet with a new line item: "Bob-related Meteor wear and tear."
And the Meteor? Still sleek. Still deadly. Still somehow Bob-proof… for now.
